CHILDREN OF SONORA, MEXICO
Life of the Village Foundation has teamed up with Pastor Victor
to provide a place of peace and refuge for the children of his community.
His village has a lot of violence, drugs, alcohol, prostitution, and children being sold.
Pastor has come to tears seeing children sitting on the street, being locked out of their homes, bruises on their bodies, no food, and even some of the girls being sold for money to support their parents addictions.
Pastor Victor is providing food, teaching the children the Bible, singing songs and praying with them, doing art work, plus setting up a bouncy house for them to play.
At first he called it Kids Club, but the children want to call it Church for Children.
They have been so excited to come every week and bring more friends each time.
BETHEL ORPHANAGE
Bethel Orphanage is near the U.S.A./Mexican border. It is run by Mama Bertha who's parents started the orphanage when she was a child. She always has the doors open for children in need. Orphans and children from difficult family situations come to her for refuge. Life of the Village has committed to provide the food and other basic needs of the children.
