Chuita is a precious lady we met on a walk that has spent many years of her life caring for her invalid son who is a grown man now. We enjoy visiting them both and lightening their load by helping with any repairs or by bringing food as well and monetary help.
GROCERY DELIVERIES
Many times the elderly just need an extra hand when they've had injuries or an illness. Most of the time they are very independent, but their faces light up with delight when we come to bring food and household supplies. They really appreciate having someone to visit with so that they aren't alone.
PERSONAL VISITS
Even though Mexico is very family oriented, every once in awhile there are elderlies that don't have companions. We, at Life of the Village enjoy spending time with the lonely to bring a smile to their faces. We in turn receive a wealth of stories from Mexico's past.
