FOOD & HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES

All of us at Life of the Village delight to see faces light up when we bring basic household necessities and food to various families or individuals that have immediate needs.

We personally go shopping with donated money and drive to various homes handing out groceries when we get word of people in need.

FOOD STAPLES

Many times just a food run of basic ingredients can help a family make it through a week when they are unable to leave home for a season.

SUSTAINANCE, NOT EXTRAVAGANCE

More often than not, those we care for are very humble, and wouldn't even ask for help...they do whatever it takes to feed their families.

SMILES EVEN WITH LOSS

This boy's mother recently passed away.  When we heard it was his birthday, we brought groceries and gave him a little monetary gift to surprise him.

FILLING HEARTS & STOMACHS

A little goes a long way to make the hungry happy!  There is nothing like basic home-made tortillas and freshly cooked beans to keep someone going!

HELPING THE HELPFUL

There are many recovery centers that can use a hand caring for the many residences.  We help out financially with food from time to time.

REWARDS FOR PROGRESS

Those of us from Life of the Village Foundation like to visit and see the progress of addiction recovery, and reward progress with a feast.

ENJOYING A DRINK IN THE HEAT

Just a refreshing water (usually fruit based) with a visit is uplifting to the elderly on a hot day.  Life of the Village makes a point to stop and care.

HOSPITAL PROVISIONS

Hospital stays can be quite expensive, even a little money goes a long way in helping out so that patients can receive healthy meals.
